The top-of-the-line Pro 86/88 burner - this is a 17mm pin-point burner that offers precision jewellery work, gold and silver forging, and soft soldering up to 10mm pipe with ease. Silver soldering gets up to around 615°C. The specs are 0.25kW, 20g/h at 2 bar. This burner connects with a M20 x 1 thread. You'll want to use it with the 3511 or 3509 neck tubes.
This 3938 is the most accurate burner in the Sievert Pro 86/88 range - and its a pin-point flame equivalent for the M20 x 1 thread system. Where the 8842 Lightline needlepoint burner uses the M8 x 0.75 thread via the 3501 adapter neck tube - the 3938 just hooks up to standard Pro 86/88 neck tubes (3511 or 3509) which makes it the perfect choice for Pro 86/88 users wanting some serious precision flame capability without needing that Lightline neck tube adapter.
This 17mm burner puts out a fine, short (38mm) pin-point flame at 0.25kW - same output and consumption as the 8842. Soft soldering gets you up to 400°C on pipe up to 10mm; and you can silver solder up around 615°C for all your gold and silver work.
