The 01-4111 is a small but essential Gaslow system component — the blanking cap that fits the 3/4" UNF male Gaslow filler connection and caps off any unused filler inlet. Gaslow confirm four main uses for this cap:
Blank an unused cylinder filler inlet — Prevents debris, moisture and contaminants from entering an open filler inlet connection on the cylinder when not connected to a fill hose.
Convert a No.2 cylinder into a No.1 cylinder — A No.2 cylinder has a dual inlet configuration; capping one inlet with this blanking cap converts it to single inlet No.1 operation for single-cylinder installations.
Blank the rear outlet of the filler point — Prevents someone inadvertently connecting an LPG pump to the filler point when no cylinder hose is connected — an important safety measure on vehicle system transfers.
Cap the old filler point on system transfer — When moving a Gaslow system to a new vehicle and leaving the original filler point in place, this cap goes on the old filler to prevent inadvertent filling. Included in the Gaslow Transfer Kit.
Also used with the Gaslow 01-4213 three-way adaptor — when one of the three outlets is not being used, the 01-4111 blanks it off.
