Installation bracket mounts the Gas low LPG filler point into the gas locker instead of outside of the vehicle through the vehicle's body at the bottom of the vehicle or top of the vehicle or either side of the locker. New 70mm diameter installation bracket has been designed to fit around the Gaslow filler body closely minimizing the amount of space used within the locker. For those who do not want to make a hole in their vehicle body and prefer an alternative installation option to Gaslow’s fillable systems, the 01-4160 can be installed alternatively to installing the filler pod directly through the vehicle body (the typical way to install the 01-4100 kit). The bracket will secure the Gaslow refillable system to the interior of the gas locker so you can have easy access to the filling port by simply opening up the gas locker. There are multiple ways you can attach the filling port to the bracket; you can attach it to the ceiling of the gas locker, or to either side of the locker or to the bottom of the locker. Depending on how your gas locker is laid out and which will give you the most access once you have opened up the gas locker door.
When using this bracket, we would recommend using the short hose kit (0.6 meters long) because it will allow you to have easier movement and flexibility while moving back and forth between vehicles. In fact, according to the Gaslow brochure, they suggest using this bracket with either the 0.6-meter black kit (01-4156) or 0.6-meter white kit (01-4106). When transferring your Gaslow system from one vehicle to another, there will be no marks left on your previous vehicle.
