Equipped with a high-resolution 320 x 240 IR sensor (enhanced to 640 x 480 pixels with SuperResolution), this camera delivers crystal-clear thermal images, even from long distances. Its <0.04°C thermal sensitivity ensures even the smallest temperature anomalies are detected, helping uncover insulation issues, moisture ingress and heat loss quickly.
The included 42° wide-angle lens and 12° telephoto lens allow switching seamlessly between scanning large surface areas and focusing on distant targets. With manual focus, the image stays sharp and detailed at any distance.
Thanks to IRSoft software and the Testo Thermography App, results can be analysed, streamed and reported in real time. The kit also features Bluetooth connectivity for pairing with other Testo measuring tools (sold separately), and includes a spare battery and charging dock to keep working all day long.
A 42° wide-angle lens as standard suits tight spaces and confined building surveys better than the 883-1's narrower 30° lens, while the included 12° telephoto lens still covers distant targets when needed.
