A dual manual twin cylinder propane gas system can be added to your caravan or motorhome if you've got a 30mbar bulkhead regulator sticking out at an angle into the corner of the gas locker. The gauge just screws straight onto the W20 outlet of your regulator and hooks up to both cylinders with two hoses. It's also got built-in gas level indicators and leak detection - so you can keep an eye on things and spot any issues right away. You'll need a double manifold regulator stuck in the corner of the gas locker, with the inlet pointing at the side - and remember this is a propane only unit, so you'll need the butane version (01-1627) if that's what you're using.
The 01-1632 is the Side version of the Gaslow propane manual changeover gauge - and that's the one you want if your regulator's not bolted vertically in the middle but is instead stuck in the corner with the inlet pointing to the side. This is often the case in caravans and motorhomes where the gas locker is too narrow to fit the regulator upright, so it gets stuck flat against the wall.
The principle of how it all works remains the same in any case - one hose goes to the current cylinder you're using and another to the spare one. When the current cylinder runs dry, you just switch over to the spare one without interrupting the flow of gas. Just make sure you know which sort of inlet you need - that is, depending on where your pre-existing regulator is - then you can go for either the Side version, the Standard one (01-1630), or the Front version (01-1631). The butane equivalents are: 01-1627 (Side), 01-1625 (Standard), 01-1626 (Front).
