The Anton Sprint Pro 4 is the first model in the Sprint Pro range fitted with a dual-beam infrared direct CO₂ sensor, allowing ambient CO and CO₂ to be measured together. The Pro 3 measures CO directly and calculates CO₂ from the O₂ reading — sufficient for standard domestic boiler commissioning under BS 7967. The Pro 4 adds a physical dual-beam infrared CO₂ sensor that gives a direct measurement of CO₂ in the surrounding air, rather than a calculated figure.
This makes it particularly suited to commercial catering work (COMCAT), where simultaneous CO and CO₂ monitoring is needed in a kitchen environment over an extended period, and to CO/CO₂ incident investigations (CMDDA1), where direct CO₂ measurement at low concentrations matters. The Pro 4 can record and report session data for up to 7 days, useful for capturing data across an incident investigation rather than a single visit.
If work involves only domestic boilers and gas fires, the Pro 3 is sufficient. If it involves commercial cooking or CO investigations, the Pro 4 is the more appropriate analyser.
It carries over the Pro 3's other capabilities: a gas leak detection probe with flexible swan neck and LED torch, Bluetooth connectivity to the Anton Sprint Pro app, let-by and tightness pressure testing, double water-stop technology and BS 7967 CO sweep and room safety reporting. It's BSI independently tested to EN 50379-1:2012 and EN 50379-3:2012, BS 8494 compliant, hydrogen blend ready, and can be upgraded to add an NO/NOx sensor at a later date.
