The Primofit® Galvanised Gas Adaptor is a compression fitting for connecting 20mm yellow MDPE gas pipe to 1/2" BSP female threaded steel pipework. A secure, leak-free solution for Natural Gas and LPG installations, it meets BS EN 10255, BS EN 10220 and ISO 7-1 standards.
Manufactured under a BS EN ISO 9001 quality system, this adaptor is designed for long life in domestic, commercial and light industrial applications. The galvanised body and nut are corrosion resistant, and the insert stiffeners support MDPE pipe integrity.
For above-ground or underground use (with corrosion tape, sold separately), this adaptor also meets GIS/PL3 specified installations where galvanised components are required.
