This air differential pressure switch has been EC type-tested and certified for use in gas interlock systems, extraction fan monitoring, filter monitoring and ventilation applications. It also works as a positive pressure switch, vacuum sensor or differential pressure monitor for air, flue gas and non-aggressive gases. It can handle a 0.2 – 2mbar (20 – 200Pa) range, with a delta of only 0.1mbar (10Pa) - a pretty precise operation. It's powered by 24V – 250V AC and is built to withstand the elements, with an IP54 rating. It can handle temperatures ranging from -20°C to +85°C. With a 2m clear hose and two spigots included in the supply, you're all set to install.
The switch can detect tiny pressure differences and trigger on/off or changeover operations when it reaches a certain pressure. Setting the switch point is a simple job, no tools required - just turn the hand wheel. All connections - pneumatic and electrical - are in the same place, so you can get your installation in and out without taking up loads of space.
