The Anton Sprint Pro 1 is the entry-level model in Anton's Sprint Pro flue gas analyser range, used by Gas Safe engineers to check that a boiler or gas fire is burning fuel safely and efficiently. It measures CO and O₂ directly from the flue gas via electrochemical sensors, and calculates CO₂, CO:CO₂ ratio, excess air and efficiency from those readings.
Unlike the Pro 2 and above, the Pro 1 doesn't include pressure testing (let-by and tightness tests) — if that capability is needed, the Pro 2 is the next model up. The Pro 1 suits engineers whose work is primarily commissioning and servicing standard gas and oil boilers, where flue gas analysis alone is sufficient.
This kit adds a Sprint Pro infrared printer and an AS10 pipe clamp temperature probe to the standard analyser and flue probe, giving a more complete setup for on-site testing and documentation without buying accessories separately.
Double water-stop technology gives two-stage protection against condensate reaching the pump, reducing downtime from moisture ingress, and the particulate filter is washable rather than disposable. A secure click-in flue probe connector adds further filtration at the connection point, and built-in over-range sensor protection guards against damage from unexpectedly high readings. It's BSI independently tested to EN 50379-1:2012 and EN 50379-3:2012, suitable for use with BS 7967 and BS 8494, and is hydrogen blend ready.
USB-C charging covers both the analyser and the included printer, with a rated 14-hour battery life from the Li-ion rechargeable battery. It's supplied in a drop-in carry bag with a shoulder strap and business card holder for quick removal and replacement of the analyser and accessories on site.
Note: if testing oil-powered appliances, the Sprint Pro Flue Probe with 3 Micron Filter (C03767/S) is recommended in addition to the standard kit.
