The Anton Pro Infrared Printer is a wireless printer for Anton Sprint Pro and Sprint eVo flue gas analysers. It connects via an IRDA infrared interface, printing combustion analysis and CO room safety reports directly from the analyser within around 2 seconds — no cables or Bluetooth pairing needed.
It's the printer included in the Kit A configuration of the Sprint Pro 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 analysers, and is sold here as a standalone replacement or addition. To print, the analyser and printer are simply pointed toward each other so their infrared windows face one another. Thermal paper means there are no ink cartridges to run out on site, and a magnetic back allows the printer to be attached to metal surfaces like boiler casings or panel doors, so it can be left in place rather than held while working.
For engineers using the Sprint Pro app on a smartphone, this printer gives an alternative to digital report sharing — useful where a customer or building manager prefers a physical paper record on the day. It's USB-C rechargeable, using the same cable as the Sprint Pro analyser, and comes with rechargeable batteries and one printer roll included.
