Brass Compression Elbow Fitting for Gas Hobs - 10mm x 1/2" BSP FM
Gas hobs often sit close to the wall, so a straight fitting can leave the pipe sticking out where it isn't wanted. This brass 90° compression elbow turns the connection through a right angle at the appliance, joining 10mm copper pipe to the ½" BSP male inlet found on gas hobs and many other gas appliances. The compression inlet grips the pipe mechanically, so no heat or soldering is required.
The joint is sealed with a fibre washer rather than PTFE tape or sealant. The washer is required and is not included in the box, and no additional sealant is needed or recommended. A matching Gas Hob Fibre Washer is available separately, suited to this fitting and most standard ½" BSP hob connections.
Installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified, registered gas installer.
