Anton Sprint Pro 1 Multifunction Flue Gas Analyser – Entry-Level | BS 7967 | EN 50379 BSI Tested
Anton Sprint Pro 1 - the entry-level model in the Sprint Pro flue gas analyser range. Measures CO and O₂ directly, calculates CO₂, CO:CO₂ ratio, excess air and efficiency. BS 7967 CO sweep tests and CO room safety reporting. Double water-stop technology. Washable particulate filter. USB-C charging. BSI independently tested to EN 50379-1:2012 and EN 50379-3:2012. Hydrogen blend ready. 2-year warranty.
The Sprint Pro 1 is the base model in Anton's flue gas analyser range - the instrument Gas Safe engineers use to check that a boiler or gas fire is burning fuel safely and efficiently. It measures CO and O₂ directly from the flue gas and calculates the other combustion figures (CO₂, efficiency, excess air) from those readings. Unlike the Pro 2 and above, the Pro 1 does not include pressure testing (let-by and tightness tests) - if you need that capability, the Pro 2 is the next step up. The Pro 1 is well suited to engineers whose work is primarily commissioning and servicing standard gas and oil boilers where flue gas analysis alone is sufficient.
Key Features & Benefits
CO, O₂ Direct Measurement, CO₂ Calculated: Electrochemical CO and O₂ sensors, with CO₂, CO:CO₂ ratio, excess air and efficiency calculated.
BS 7967 CO Sweep and CO Room Safety Reporting: Generates the reports needed for BS 7967 compliance.
Double Water-Stop Technology: Two-stage condensate trap stops water reaching the pump, reducing downtime from moisture ingress.
Secure Click-In Flue Probe Connector: Positive connection with additional filtration.
Over-Range Sensor Protection: Built in as standard.
BSI Independently Tested: To EN 50379-1:2012 and EN 50379-3:2012, for use with BS 7967 and BS 8494.
Hydrogen Blend Ready: Prepared for current and developing fuel gas compositions.
USB-C Charging: For the analyser and compatible printer.
14-Hour Battery Life: Li-ion rechargeable.
Drop-In Carry Bag: Quick removal and replacement of the analyser and accessories, with shoulder strap and business card holder.
2-Year Warranty: Covers the analyser under normal use.
Ideal For
Setting up new gas and oil boilers.

Anton Sprint Pro Range — Which Model?
Pro 1 (this product): CO, O₂, temperature. No pressure testing, no gas leak detection. Entry-level commissioning and servicing.
Pro 2: As Pro 1, plus pressure testing (let-by/tightness). Gas leak detection available as an optional extra.
Pro 3: As Pro 2, plus a gas leak detection probe included and Bluetooth app connectivity (iOS/Android).
Pro 4: As Pro 3, plus a direct infrared CO₂ sensor for ambient monitoring (COMCAT/CMDDA1). Made to order.
Pro 5/6: Additional NO/NOx sensors.
Why Buy This Product?
Double water-stop technology and a washable particulate filter are genuine practical advantages for engineers doing regular servicing work, reducing both downtime from moisture ingress and the ongoing cost of disposable filters. BSI independent testing to EN 50379-1:2012 and EN 50379-3:2012 confirms it meets the standards needed for BS 7967 and BS 8494 work, and being hydrogen blend ready gives some future-proofing as fuel gas composition continues to evolve. For engineers who only need flue gas analysis without pressure testing, it's a straightforward, lower-cost entry point into the Sprint Pro range.
