Description

Sievert 2944 Power Burner 50mm – 294402 | 86kW | Roofing, Roadwork & Waterproofing

The largest brass power burner in the Sievert Pro 86/88 range — 86kW from a 50mm windproof head for large-scale roofing, roadwork, waterproofing and defrosting applications. 6700g/h at 4 bar. M20 × 1 thread fits all Pro 86/88 neck tubes. Sievert recommend pairing with the Pro 88 handle (3488) and its pilot flame economiser for sustained roofing work. A 4 bar regulator and 47kg cylinder are recommended.

The 2944 is the maximum-output brass power burner available for the Pro 86/88 handle system — 86kW at 4 bar from a 50mm head, matching the output of dedicated roofing torches like the Sievert P3444KITX while remaining interchangeable with the full range of Pro 86/88 neck tubes. This gives Pro 88 handle owners a full-power roofing and roadwork burner without a separate dedicated roofing torch system. The windproof flame maintains stable, controlled combustion in the exposed site conditions typical of rooftop, road surfacing and open-site work.

At 6700g/h gas consumption, sustained use at full output requires a large propane cylinder — a 47kg cylinder is the standard recommendation for professional roofing sessions. Sievert recommend pairing with the Pro 88 handle (3488) for roofing applications at this power level, as the 3488's pilot flame economiser keeps the burner lit between membrane passes without running the full 6700g/h between each pass.
