Rinnai P70EV-KITE 32e/HD70e Gas Control Valve - Genuine Spare

The gas control valve in Rinnai Infinity 32e and HD70E - its one of those parts that gets a lot of people scratching their heads. Its not even a simple on/off switch, its an electronic brain that keeps a constant eye on the gas flow to the burner and makes adjustments every time it fires up.
In normal running, the PCB keeps the main solenoid valve wide open while there is a flow through the unit and the burner needs to be lit. And its a very clever system - it uses the modulating valve and three changeover solenoid valves to keep the outlet water temperature rock steady - no matter if the flow rate or water temperature changes. Thats right - it can take all those variables into account - and still get the temperature spot on.
The modulating valve works by directing gas to three separate changeover solenoid valves, which then send gas to the two burner banks - either one or both - or all three - whatever the system needs. Of course any of those valves can be open at any given time - and the modulating valve just does its thing - making adjustments to get the right amount of gas through. And its all done in real time - with the signals from sensors telling the PCB exactly what to do.
The modulating valve is controlled by the PCB, using signals from the water flow sensor, flow control device, bypass flow control device, water temperature thermistors and combustion fan speed sensor. That means that if anything goes wrong in that assembly - you get problems with gas delivery - combustion - and temperature control all at the same time.
The P70EV-KITE is the genuine Rinnai gas control valve assembly for both the Infinity 32e and the HD70E. Thats right - its the one that fits - built to the same spec as the original factory fitted part - and its the only one that will give you full, precise gas control back on the appliance. Remember - all gas work must be done by a qualified, Gas Safe registered engineer.
WARNING - GAS PRESSURE MUST BE VERIFIED
That's right - a faulty gas valve is not always the cause - before replacing this assembly - a qualified engineer should confirm the gas supply pressure at the appliance is as it should be - and that there aren't any issues up stream. And if there are high gas pressures - a solenoid wont open - remember to check that regulator has been used. Verify the incoming pressure first - then get on with the repair.Get it same day dispatch if you order by 3pm.
