Pipe runs look tidier and stay put when each pipe has its own firm clip. This Talon 22mm hinged clip gives a 360° grip around the pipe. Open the hinge to put the pipe in, close it, and fix the clip to the surface with a screw.
It’s made in the UK from UV-stabilised polypropylene, which resists discolouring and doesn’t warp or distort with temperature change. It has a dovetail on the side so clips link together, keeping parallel pipe runs evenly spaced and aligned. The safe operating temperature is 85°C, so it suits hot and cold water pipework, and Talon recommends a clip spacing of 500mm along pipe runs. It’s suitable for internal and external domestic pipework. Talon spacers (sold separately) allow insulation to be used around the pipe.
Talon states its hinged clips are tested for safe use with plumbing, gas and air conditioning pipe. The clip holds pipe in position and isn’t intended for load-bearing use. Gas pipework must be installed by a suitably qualified, registered gas installer in accordance with the relevant standards. Screws aren’t included.
