The Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 is a compact wall mounted lpg instantaneous gas water heater producing up to 6 l/min at δ25°c and has a maximum Output of 11.8 kW. It is rated as erp a+, and produces very low NOx emissions of just 52 mg/kwh. The Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 is a direct Replacement for the discontinued Cointra CPA 6, and shares most of its components. This makes replacing your old Cointra CPA 6 as easy as possible, using the existing pipework, flue connections and wall mounting bracket.
In 2023 when Cointra discontinued their CPA 6 model, ferroli replaced it with the Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6. Both models have the majority of their components in common so all of your existing pipework, flue connections and wall mounting brackets can be reused without modification. In addition, the Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 is also an instantaneous open chamber heater operating naturally under draft conditions (i.e., it does not store hot water). Therefore, you do not need to preheat or wait for the boiler to fire-up before getting hot water. Simply turn on the taps and the burner fires up instantly using Ferroli's electronic ignition system powered by batteries. At 37 mbar lpg supply pressure, the maximum Output of the Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 is 11.8 kW, providing up to 6 liters per minute of hot water at a 25°c temperature rise. However, the Modulating Heat power provides variable heat outputs ranging from 6.3 kW to 11.8 kW allowing you to achieve the desired temperature, while minimizing lpg consumption. Furthermore, since the Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 can operate at temperatures as low as −5°c ambient, it is ideal for use in static caravans that are used throughout winter.
The Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 has a copper heat exchanger finished with an aluminum rust-proof coating; a far superior design to some other competitive products at similar prices, that simply have copper heat exchangers without any protection against rust. The maximum allowable temperature of the water exiting the Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 is 60°C, the NOx emission rate is 52 mg/kwh and the efficiency of the Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 is approximately 87% at full power. As such, the Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 is rated as erp A+. The dimensions of the Ferroli Pegaso Eco 6 are 548 x 280 x 185 mm (h x w x d) and it requires no electric connection to function. All connections to water and gas are made using standard ½” bsp fittings. The flue diameter is 100mm.
