The Clessinox 750mm Stainless Steel Propane Gas Pigtail is a straight-through (ST) pigtail that connects a propane cylinder to a regulator or wall block, built from Stainless Steel 316L rather than the rubber used in conventional hoses. It suits domestic and commercial propane systems where a durable, corrosion-resistant connection is needed.
As an ST pigtail, it does not include a non-return valve. It's intended for systems where backflow protection is already provided elsewhere, such as at the regulator. If you need a pigtail with an integrated non-return valve, check for the NR version of this product instead.
Built to BS EN ISO 10380, the hose uses a wide-bore stainless steel construction that reduces pressure loss and maintains full gas flow even when cylinder pressure drops to as low as 0.5 bar. Unlike rubber hoses, it contains no plasticiser material in contact with LPG, which removes the risk of oil contamination reaching downstream regulators and appliances.
An additional layer of stainless steel braiding and a UV-stabilised PVC outer sleeve protect the hose from abrasion, weathering and rodent damage, making it suitable for exposed outdoor installations as well as indoor use. It's rated at 5 kg/h (70 kWh) and fits standard manual and auto changeover regulators and wall blocks. At 750mm, it offers more reach than the 500mm version where cylinder and regulator sit further apart.
