High-quality double stage propane regulator, with a consistent 30 mbar output, regardless of the cylinder pressure. BS EN 16129 Annex M (Marine) certified. POL inlet, 3/8 BSP female outlet. 1.5 kg / hour, 75 mbar over-pressure relief, reinforced diaphragms. Compatible with Calor UK POL propane cylinders from 3.9 kg up to 47 kg (including Calor Lite), 2 years warranty.
A double stage propane regulator has significantly better pressure consistency when compared to its single stage counterpart. A two-stage pressure reduction process means that the high cylinder inlet pressure will be reduced in two stages, thus giving you a smooth, constant 30 mbar output at the end of the two stages. This is especially useful if you are using a marine appliance for cooking because having steady gas flow gives you predictable heat output.
It is like the single stage version, and meets the requirements of BS EN 16129 Annex M (Marine) for insurance approved on board installations, but has an identical marine grade corrosion resistant build, reinforced diaphragms, and an over-pressure relief of 75 mbar. The outlet is 3/8 BSP female — unlike the single stage’s 1/4″ LH male — so please make sure you order the correct connection for your installation. Calor Lite cylinders have been tested and confirmed to be compatible.
