In contrast to a standard rubber LPG pigtail, the galvanised steel over braiding of this product offers a degree of protection against damage (both internal and external) as well as rodent infestation on the high-pressure hose. Therefore, this product is very suitable for both residential, recreational and commercial LPG cylinder installations where hoses are subject to exposure.
This product has been manufactured in the U.K. utilising an EN 16436-1 Class 3 High Pressure L.P.G. Hose. It therefore boasts a maximum operating pressure of 30 bar and a maximum bursting pressure of 90 bar. In addition to being protected from backflow by means of its built-in Non-Return Valve, the Excess Flow Valve will also prevent excessive flow rates through the LPG regulator, automatic and/or manual change-over equipment or Wall Blocks.
It comes equipped with a Butane Nut Cylinder Connection and a W20 Nut & Tail for attachment to any compatible LPG Regulator, Automatic Changeover System and/or Manual Changeover Equipment and Wall Block.
