A tool backpack for a full day on site needs space for the tools, a place for the laptop and a way to carry it all comfortably. The Velocity Rogue 50 is a tool backpack with 36 internal and external pockets, a removable 150-lumen LED light, a quick-release magnetic harness system and a padded laptop sleeve.
The main compartment has 20 vertical tool pockets and two pouches. At the rear there’s a removable tool panel and a velcro tool set holder, and at the front there’s an EVA pod and a magnetic storage pouch. A top fidlock takes load off the shoulder straps, and a thermoformed comfort back panel and heavy-duty foam straps help with carrying. A rubber TPR handle lets you pick it up.
The outer is 900D water-resistant fabric in a V-moulded nylon profile, on a 3.2mm polypropylene waterproof base, with M10 YKK interlocking zippers, marine-grade rivets and industrial-strength nylon stitching. It measures 26.7cm wide x 35cm long x 49cm high.
If you carry a lot of tools and a laptop, the Rogue 50 gives you 36 pockets, a removable LED light and a magnetic harness, with a waterproof base and a backpack carry. Velocity’s Rogue 45 is a smaller, lighter bag with many of the same features.
