The Anton C03737 gas escape probe plugs into the side of a Sprint Pro 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 flue gas analyser, giving audible and visual indication of flammable gas presence. As gas concentration increases, the audible click rises in pitch — a Geiger counter-style indication — alongside a visual bar graph on the analyser, helping to pinpoint the location of a small combustible gas leak. It's a detection tool for locating leaks, not an instrument for measuring exact gas concentration.
The sensor has a detection range covering natural gas up to 5,000ppm. A flexible swan neck allows the probe to be bent to different angles, useful for reaching behind appliances or into confined spaces, and an integrated LED light at the end of the swan neck helps when investigating leaks in poorly lit areas.
The probe plugs directly into the analyser, so no separate detector unit is needed. At 1960mm overall length, it's long enough to investigate hard-to-reach places without repositioning the analyser itself. An updated, more power-efficient design reduces energy draw compared to the previous version, extending analyser battery life during detection sessions.
This probe is compatible with the Sprint Pro 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 — it is not compatible with the Sprint Pro 1.
