The Anton Pro BS7967 Probe Set is a flueless appliance probe for use with the Anton Sprint Pro flue gas analyser range. It samples combustion products — particularly carbon monoxide — from high-level grills, cookers, space heaters and other flueless appliances, in accordance with the BS7967:2005 procedure for flueless appliance CO assessment.
Flueless appliances — gas fires, cookers, grills and space heaters without a conventional flue venting outside — need a different testing approach to flued appliances under BS7967. Rather than inserting a probe into a flue, this probe set samples combustion products directly from the appliance, typically held above or near the burner or grill, to check CO levels against the BS7967:2005 procedure.
If you service gas cookers, grills, space heaters or flueless gas fires alongside conventional flued boilers, this probe extends an existing Sprint Pro analyser to cover that work without a separate instrument. It's also the probe included as standard in the Kit B configuration of the Sprint Pro 3, 4, 5 and 6 ranges, and is sold here separately as a spare or replacement.
The filter bowl has a moulded plastic handle for comfortable, practical handling when sampling above grills, cookers and heaters, and a moisture trap with filters protects the connected analyser's sensors from moisture and particulate in the sampled air.
Flueless appliances genuinely need a different sampling approach to flued boilers, and this probe gives an existing Sprint Pro analyser the correct configuration for BS7967:2005 flueless testing without buying a separate instrument. As a genuine Anton part, it's compatible across the full Sprint Pro range, and doubles as the correct replacement if the BS7967 probe supplied with a Kit B configuration wears out.
