This is a soft flame burner designed for cable work, cable jointing and heat shrinking on the Sievert Pro 86/88 system. It's got a brilliant yellow-and-blue windproof flame that's soot-free and won't mess up your cable sheathing. It's also got a clever fresh air inlet that keeps the burner head nice and cool - stops the sleeve material from burning or charring. No need for a neck tube either - just screw it straight into your Pro 86/88 handle. The specs are 11.3kW and 900g/h at 2 bar, with a 28mm diameter and an 80mm integrated neck tube at 30°.
The 3528 is a direct connection soft flame burner for your Pro 86/88 handle system - unlike other burners which need a separate neck tube, this one just screws straight into the handle's outlet without any fuss. That makes it the most compact soft flame option for the Pro 86/88 system - the 80mm integrated neck puts the burner nice and close to the handle for cable jointing work where you need to get in around a cable sleeve. Positioning isn't always a problem around a sleeve.
The flame is a beautiful sweeping yellow-and-blue that distributes heat evenly across the shrink sleeve. The fresh air inlet does it's job by drawing in ambient air to keep the burner head cool, which stop's it burning or charring the sleeve material at the point of contact. The windproof design keeps the flame going smoothly even in the great outdoors. The 3529 (38mm) is the next size up for bigger sleeve diameters.
