Sievert 2955 Soldering Burner – 295501 | Converts Pro 86/88 to Gas Soldering Iron
Power output of the burner is 3.3kW, the flow rate is 260g/h at 2 bar pressure. The direct G 3/8"–19 connection means you do not need a neck tube.
The 2955 soldering burner can be fitted directly to the Pro 86/88 handle and accepts all standard Sievert copper bits — converting the handle from a torch into a gas-powered soldering iron for soldering sheet metal. In particular it is suited for lead, copper sheet, tin and other similar materials. The 2955 soldering burner has a well-designed enclosed burner which can be combined with a windshield (708121) for good wind protection for soldering sheet metal outside. Sieverts' product specification indicates the 2955 soldering burner will have a rated service life of 1500 meters of soldering. The copper bits also don't need to be hammered or filed as they are shaped specifically for the job.
Available copper bits: 701630 (300 g), 701720 (500 g) and 702070 (380 g). Both the copper bits and the optional windshield 708121 are sold separately. The windshield is highly recommended if you plan to perform soldering in windy or exposed locations.
