Rinnai PA-KIT E (NG) A Series Gas Control Assembly - Genuine Rinnai Spare

Get the gas control assembly wrong on a Rinnai A Series and you're looking at a problem that's going to make itself known straight away - wrong combustion, failed fault codes, no ignition, or a water temperature that's all over the place as soon as the demand changes. Now, the gas control assembly is one piece of kit that you can't really afford to get wrong.

The PA-KIT E (NG) is the genuine Rinnai gas control assembly for the A Series Infinity - and it's specifically for Natural Gas. What's more, it bundles up the main solenoid valve, the changeover solenoid valves and the modulating valve in one neat little package. Normally, the main solenoid valve will stay open as long as there's flow through the unit, but the gas flow rate is controlled by the modulating valve and the changeover solenoid valves to keep the water temperature constant, no matter what the flow rate or water temperature is like. The gas valve itself is electronically controlled and factory set - so you don't typically need to mess around with it during installation - unless the unit's not working right and you've ruled out all the other possible causes. In that case, you might need to make a couple of adjustments.

After you've swapped this assembly out, you'll need to verify the gas pressure and set it up correctly at the burner test point, using Rinnai's commissioning procedure and both high and low combustion modes.

The (NG) bit isn't just for show - this assembly is strictly for Natural Gas only. If you try to use it with an LPG installation, you'll end up with incorrect combustion and safety issues. Make sure you know what type of gas you've got before you order.

And - as with any gas work - any maintenance or repairs should be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Key Features and Benefits
  • Genuine Rinnai OEM – For Natural Gas - this is the real deal - manufactured to Rinnai's original spec for the A Series NG version - not the same as the LPG one.
  • All-in-One Gas Control Assembly - the main solenoid, changeover solenoid and modulating valve are all in one place, so you can restore that precise gas delivery control with one part.
  • PCB-Controlled Modulation for Super-accurate Water Temperature - the modulating valve is controlled by the PCB, adjusting gas flow to keep the water temperature spot on, regardless of the flow rate or conditions.
  • Pre-set Electronic Gas Control - the valve is electronically controlled, and Rinnai's got it pre-set to their spec - you might need to check the gas pressure after installation, but under normal circumstances, no fiddling required.
  • Dual Safety Cut-Off Valve - the main solenoid valve acts as a safety net, shutting off gas flow the moment the PCB tells it to - or if there's a problem.
  • Recommended by Gas Engineers all over the Country - this is the reliable genuine gas control assembly replacement for Infinity A Series natural gas installs in the UK.
Ideal for
  • Rinnai Infinity A Series Continuous Flow Water Heaters - Natural Gas Installations
  • Troubled A Series Gas Installations – Issues with Ignition, Bad Combustion, Water Temperature all over the shop
  • Fault code 52 (modulating valve) or 71 (solenoid valve) after you've eliminated wiring - that's a sign the solenoid's shot
  • Solenoid valve stuck on testing - faulty resistance or voltage
  • Gas Engineers looking to get to the bottom of an A Series diagnosis and repair
  • Natural Gas Installations only - not for LPG - you know the score.
Common problems this Part Fixes
  • No gas getting to the burner, and you're sure there's supply, pressure and ignition spark all good to go
  • Fault code 52 - modulating valve's losing its signal
  • Fault code 71 - solenoid valve's ciruit's gone down
  • Solenoid valve not holding any sort of pressure - resistance is all wrong
  • Water temperature won't stabilise or hit the mark - modulating valve's not doing its job
  • Appliance is lighting up, but can't keep the burner going - solenoid valve's not holding pressure
  • Test says the gas assembly is faulty after systematic electrical and pressure checks.

Order by 3 pm and we'll get it out to you same day. Still need to confirm your gas type or want to run through some fault diagnosis before we ship? Give us a call - we'll sort the right part for you on the first go.

Features

Rinnai PA-KIT E (NG) A Series Gas Control Assembly - Genuine Spare Features

  • Genuine Rinnai OEM Assembly — Natural Gas – Manufactured to Rinnai's original specification for the Infinity A Series NG variant. The correct assembly for natural gas installations — not interchangeable with the LPG variant.
  • Complete Integrated Gas Control Assembly – Combines the main solenoid valve, changeover solenoid valves, and the electronically controlled modulating valve in a single unit — restoring complete, precise gas delivery control in one replacement.
  • PCB-Controlled Modulation for Precise Temperature – The modulating valve responds continuously to sensor inputs from the PCB, varying gas flow to maintain accurate outlet temperature across all flow rates and operating conditions.
  • Factory Pre-Set Electronic Control – Electronically controlled and factory pre-set to Rinnai's specification. Gas pressure verification and setting is required post-installation, but the assembly does not require complex manual adjustment under normal circumstances.
  • Dual Safety Valve Function – The main solenoid valve acts as the primary safety cut-off, closing immediately when the PCB commands — ensuring gas delivery stops the moment flow ceases or a fault is detected.
  • Specified by Gas Engineers Across the UK – The trusted genuine gas control assembly replacement for Infinity A Series natural gas installations throughout the UK heating trade.
