Replacement Thermal Fusible Link – F-1 | 72°C | Replacement Element for Thermal Link Enclosures
The F-1 is a replacement thermal fusible link designed to provide an identical performance (72°C) to that of the TL-2 thermal fusible link enclosure. When a TL-2 electrothermal fusible link triggers during a fire event, it will have melted its internal fuse element and therefore cannot be restored. In such instances, the F-1 provides a direct replacement element for the TL-2 which will allow the circuit to be opened again by fitting a new fuse element into the thermal fusible link enclosure.
This approach allows for immediate restoration of gas supply after the cause of the trigger has been identified and rectified, without having to wait for delivery of a replacement complete unit.
