A polished chrome floor ventilator providing 100cm² free airflow area for combustion air supply to solid fuel fireplaces. It is designed to be used in conjunction with a duct which can be fitted directly into the nearest air brick. The polished chrome face has a black duct box. It measures 280 x 106 mm overall with a fitting hole size of 213 x 78 mm. The net rated input is 27 kW. Stadium BM435/C.
The Stadium BM435/C provides the under-floor combustion air supply required by solid fuel fires where the floor acts as the ventilation route from outside air to the fire. The 100cm² free area is sufficient for meeting the ventilation requirements for solid fuel appliances up to 27kW net rated input. Presently, current recommendations indicate that the vent should be ducted to the nearest air brick rather than depending solely on an open under-floor void - ducting enables a dependable route for combustion air regardless of under-floor void conditions or changes in building fabric. When installed, the polished chrome face with internal louvres displays a flat, flush surface.
