Rotates a 21.8LH connection through 90 degrees — 21.8LH male to female. Fits directly onto the outlet of a Gaslow refillable LPG cylinder, preventing dangerous kinking and over-stressing of stainless steel regulator hoses in restricted gas locker spaces. Also fits the Gaslow range of country adaptors.
The 01-1676 is the solution for gas lockers where there isn't enough clearance above or beside the cylinder valve for a hose to exit straight — the 90° elbow turns the 21.8LH connection through a right angle so the regulator hose exits sideways rather than directly upward from the valve. This is particularly relevant when using Gaslow stainless steel regulator hoses, which are stiffer than rubber hoses and cannot be bent through tight angles at the connection point without risk of over-stressing the fitting. Fitting the elbow before the hose eliminates the bend stress and prevents kinking at the cylinder valve.
The elbow also works with the Gaslow country adaptor range — for example, it can be used to angle the connection on the 01-1671 Spanish Jumbo Adaptor away from the cylinder collar when space prevents a straight connection.
