Gaslow’s 01-1605 21.8LH Butane Adaptor Gauge provides a green/yellow/red color coded gas level display and built-in leak detection when connected in-line between your 4.5kg butane cylinder and regulator. This device can be used on a 4.5kg butane cylinder and will work with larger sizes using a 21mm clip-on adaptor (01-1670) or by connecting it to camping gaz cylinders with the 01-1665 adaptor. It also works with all Gaslow 21.8LH hoses and 21.8LH butane 28mbar regulators. Butane only — does NOT fit propane gas.
The 01-1605 is the 21.8LH version of the Gaslow 01-1610 propane analogue which is an in-line fitting placed between the butane cylinder valve and the regulator or hose. When you have this fitted there are two extra features to help you manage your fuel usage; first a visual indication of your remaining fuel as shown by the green/yellow/red colored display (green = sufficient, yellow = low, red = almost empty); second, a built in leak detector allows you to quickly test for leaks in the system.
To connect the regulator or regulator hose, simply screw it into the back of the adapter and tighten it securely with a spanner. The adapter then attaches to the cylinder at the other end using the 21.8LH threads.
For butane use only. If you need a propane gauge for a 21.8LH propane cylinder please purchase part number 01-1607 instead. For a UK POL propane gauge please purchase part number 01-1610.
