The Clesse CSR485 is a low-pressure, single-stage propane regulator suitable for use on single-cylinder catering and commercial installations. It features a consumer-resettable OPSO (Over Pressure Shut Off) that automatically closes if downstream pressure exceeds 75mbar, but will reset upon investigation and pressing the reset button.
It also has a Quicksafe female coupling outlet for connection to the Quicksafe Gas Rig system and uses POL inlet for propane cylinders. The regulator is capable of handling pressures down to 37 mbar, flows up to 4 kg/h and operates within the temperature range of -20°C to +50°C. It complies with Liquid Gas UK’s Code of Practice No. 24, part 3; EN16129; and meets NCASS recommendations.
This product comes with a 2 year warranty. It is ideal for Mobile catering units and Street food vendors who require to operate their equipment through the Quicksafe Gas Rig system. Also ideal for Static catering installations which need to comply with Liquid Gas UK CoP 24 Part 3 and NCASS members who wish to use the recommended propane regulator for their catering LPG equipment.
Also, as stated above, this product is ideal for Single propane cylinder installations where several catering appliances are being supplied.
Consumer Resettable OPSO - If the downstream pressure increases over the 75mbar trip point, the OPSO will close and indicate visually that it has tripped. Once the fault has been investigated and repaired the OPSO may be reset via a push button located on top of the unit - unlike many other safety devices which require an engineer to visit site. Similar in principle to an Electrical RCD system.
Quicksafe Female Coupling Outlet - Directly integrates into Quicksafe Gas Rig Systems - these systems are the recommended system by the Nationwide Caterers Association for Mobile Catering Operations.
Supply sizing note: Please ensure that you have sufficient quantities of propane cylinders to provide enough offfake to meet your appliance requirements. Supply sizing: The regulator is rated at 4 kg/h (approx 56 kWH). Therefore, a standard 47 kg propane cylinder can provide a maximum of approx 2.37 kg/h (approx 33 kW) - therefore, at least 2 x 47 kg cylinders or greater would be required to allow the regulator to be fully utilised. Prior to specification please always check the cylinder offtakes against your overall appliance loads.
