Problems This Part Will Fix
Control knob's broken, cracked or gone missing - If your marine cooker has been getting quite a workout and you've had to overtighten the knob or there's been some impact damage, it's not uncommon to see the knob crack under the strain. And if it's gone, you're then stuck with a valve you can't turn on safely.
The knob's come adrift on the valve spindle - after a while, the hold on the knob can start to slip, and that means you can't get a decent flame going.
Degraded from the sun or heat - if you've got your cooker stuck on a deck or in a galley, the knob can gradually start to look a bit worn out, brittle even. Replacing it fixes that right up.
