The 1340 is the heavier, more robust alternative to the nylon 1185 handle — built from steel for the environments and handling conditions where the nylon body would not be the right choice. It is the handle supplied in the Bullfinch 140P torch kit and is available here for standalone purchase as a replacement, upgrade from the 1185, or as the foundation of a custom torch configuration with any Bullfinch Standard burner from the 1210 through to the 1473.
The needle valve, 4.8mm hose inlet and 1" × 26 tpi whit form male outlet are identical in specification to the 1185 — the difference is entirely in the handle body material and resulting weight (320g vs 210g for the nylon). Also compatible with the 1073 adaptor for multiple burner configurations.
