The Clessinox 500mm Stainless Steel Propane Gas Pigtail is an NR (non-return) pigtail that connects a propane cylinder to a regulator or wall block, with an Ultraset non-return valve built in to prevent backflow. It's built from Stainless Steel 316L rather than rubber, giving it a longer service life and better corrosion resistance for domestic and commercial propane systems.
The Ultraset valve operates quietly and resets quickly once triggered, so it doesn't need to be manually reset after normal use. Built to BS EN ISO 10380, the hose uses a wide-bore stainless steel construction that keeps pressure loss low and maintains full gas flow even when cylinder pressure drops to as low as 0.5 bar. It contains no plasticiser material in contact with LPG, removing the risk of oil contamination reaching downstream regulators and appliances.
An additional layer of stainless steel braiding and a UV-stabilised PVC outer sleeve protect the hose from abrasion, weathering and rodent damage, making it suitable for exposed outdoor installations as well as indoor use. It's rated at 5 kg/h (70 kWh) and fits standard manual and auto changeover regulators and wall blocks.
This is the NR version of the Clessinox range. If you don't need an integrated non-return valve, the ST version is also available.
The pigtail carries a 2-year warranty, with a typical service life of 10+ years where it's inspected regularly.
